Do veneers hurt?
The prep visit involves light shaping with local anesthesia — most patients feel no pain at all. The bonding visit is completely comfortable. Temporary sensitivity for 1–2 weeks is normal.
Are veneers permanent?
The procedure is permanent — we remove a thin layer of enamel that doesn’t grow back. But the veneers themselves can be replaced if they chip or wear down after 15–20 years.
Can I eat and drink normally?
Yes. After the bonding visit, veneers function like normal teeth. Avoid biting hard objects (ice, pens) and very dark beverages in the first few days. After that, normal habits are fine.
How many teeth do I need veneers on?
It depends on your goals. Some patients do 1–2 teeth to fix specific chips. Others do 6–10 for a full smile transformation. We’ll recommend the minimum needed to get the result you want.
