What the drive looks like from every Norwalk neighborhood

Our office is at 8500 Florence Ave, Suite 100 in Downey, roughly 6 to 12 minutes from most parts of Norwalk depending on where you start. Norwalk and Downey share a border along Lakewood Blvd, and several cross streets connect directly with no freeway required for the closest neighborhoods.

From Cerritos College / Norwalk Square area (Pioneer Blvd corridor, north Norwalk): Take Pioneer Blvd north about one mile to the 605 freeway on-ramp. Merge onto 605 north and take the Florence Ave exit immediately. Turn left on Florence; our office is on the south side of the street inside the first half mile. Total drive: about 8 minutes in normal traffic.

From Norwalk Park / central and north Norwalk (near Clarkdale Ave and Studebaker Rd): Head west on Imperial Hwy toward Lakewood Blvd, then turn right (north) on Lakewood to Florence Ave. Turn left on Florence. Total drive: about 6 minutes. This route avoids the freeway entirely and works well during peak hours when 605 on-ramps back up.

From south Norwalk near the 5 freeway (Rosecrans Ave corridor, near Norwalk Blvd and the 5): Take the 5 north to where it merges with the 605. Continue on the 605 north one exit to Florence Ave. Turn left. Total drive: about 10 minutes.

From the Norwalk-La Mirada border (Alondra Blvd area, near Valley View): Take 605 north to Florence Ave. Total drive: about 12 minutes. This is the longest corridor within Norwalk and still puts you in our chair well under 15 minutes. We have a free 30-space parking lot accessed from the alley off Brookshire Ave, fully ADA-compliant with two handicap spaces adjacent to the suite entrance.

Cerritos College sits at the Norwalk-Cerritos border and draws a large community of students, faculty, and staff from across the southeast LA region. With roughly 22,000 students enrolled across degree and certificate programs, the campus generates a consistent population of working adults who need flexible appointment scheduling. Employees especially tend to seek care outside their immediate neighborhood, and several of our patients from the Cerritos College corridor have cited the 8-minute drive as a meaningful factor in choosing us over practices closer to campus but harder to park at.

Norwalk Community Hospitalon Norwalk Blvd is one of Norwalk's major employment anchors. Healthcare workers at the hospital deal with demanding schedules, high physical demands, and the particular irony of prioritizing others' health over their own. We have treated a number of nurses, surgical techs, and administrative staff from Norwalk Community, all of whom appreciated being able to plan treatment around shift patterns. The county PPO insurance most hospital employees carry is accepted in full at our office.

Norwalk Square and the Pioneer Blvd corridorform Norwalk's main commercial spine. Pioneer Blvd running north-south through the city connects Norwalk Square shopping to the Cerritos College campus and serves as the primary artery for north Norwalk residents heading toward Downey. Patients who do their grocery shopping or banking along Pioneer Blvd know this corridor well and frequently cite it when describing how they found our office.

Norwalk Park on Clarkdale Ave is the central community gathering space for Norwalk residents and is adjacent to the Norwalk Senior Center. The park draws families and older adults year-round and is a hub for city-organized health fairs and senior programming. Several of our Norwalk patients are senior center participants who learned about dental implant options through community health education events. We are a fully accessible office and welcome patients with mobility considerations or complex medical histories that require pre-surgical coordination with their primary care team.
